The Vivotek IP8364-C is a compact, bullet-style IP camera designed for diverse outdoor use. The 2 megapixel CMOS sensor captures high resolution video in HD 1080p at a smooth 30 frames per second, providing affordable quality. In order to adapt to challenging lighting environments, the IP8364-C features a removable infrared-cut filter for ‘true’ day/night capability in addition to IR illuminators effective up to 20m for 24/7 high quality surveillance. 3D noise reduction technology further optimises low-light image capture by preventing noise from causing image blur. The IP66-rated housing and included cable managed bracket protect against harsh outdoor environments, able to withstand rain and dust for durable CCTV.
Industry-standard H.264 compression technology is supported by the Vivotek IP8364-C, drastically reducing file size whilst conserving bandwidth. With additional support for MJPEG compression, dual streams can be transmitted simultaneously at different resolutions, frame rates and image qualities for diverse platforms.
The Vivotek IP8364-C provides secure monitoring through triple window motion and tamper detection enabling the camera to trigger an alarm to alert the user of activity and also trigger SD card recording. Edge storage onto an integrated MicroSD card (sold separately) provides data backup in case of network failure, ensuring data remains smooth and uninterrupted. Power over Ethernet (PoE) support reduces the cost to install the IP8364-C and provides a simpler solution for areas that are difficult to cable.
